Interview with the Docker CEO, coding in GO, new DevRel video
Something I didn't share on social media.
WOW, Such a week 🚀
In this newsletter, I want to share some behind-the-scenes of everything happening on my YouTube channel…it’s way more than just the final result.
Last week was very nice, especially because I hosted the DOCKER CEO, Scott Johnston, on my YouTube channel.
He doesn't usually do interviews, but we know each other and met in San Francisco.
Scott is really a “one of us“ person, and what he shares in this interview is fascinating to understand the evolution of technology in the past years. It has not been very easy to find time to coordinate because, of course, he is super busy, But I made it 🥳
If you want to listen to this extraordinary interview on how to build a solid community, you can go here:
New episode of the DevRel Unlocked Series
I had a lot of fun recording this video!
This was also a random idea, as I already had the script for “the worst and the best of being a DevRel“ but I didn’t shave yet, so I decided to record the part of the bad guy putting on a Clockwork Orange hoodie (if you don’t know what is that, you are young)
Then I shaved, and I recorded the second part. I love the outcome!
I also have a new logo directly from Gary Simon (designcourse)!!!
An anticipation: on the next Tuesday, I will speak IN ITALIAN for the first time on my channel 😱 (no worries, there will be subtitles!)
New live coding session (In GO)
Finally, after almost two years, my dream of coding 10 CRUD Rest APIs in 10 different programming languages is coming true.
I still can’t say “I did it“ because I made 4/10, and the remaining ones are definitively not my favorites, ahah!
In this episode, I coded a CRUD Rest API in GOlang, using:
Mux
Postgres
Docker
Docker Compose
I tested it using TablePlus and Postman
Hard work pays off!
Finally, after almost two months of silent grinding and focus, I see the results on my YouTube channel.
I am getting closer to the 1000 subscribers/month goal.
Let’s see if next week is the right one!
I want to say a big thank you to all the people who are supporting me in this amazing journey.
Without you, this would not be possible.
Let’s keep going!
