Hi everyone, how are you? :)
The last 2 weeks have been pretty intense and eye-opening in terms of how I put myself on social media and what I want to do.
In a nutshell, I will focus way more on creating content and building stuff rather than just having a social media presence.
Yes, having a social media presence might help, but it should not be the center of our activities.
The fact is that I had so many things to share and do without having a social media presence at all, so about 3 years ago I had to focus A LOT on this for a while, but now that I am satisfied with my presence on Twitter and I have no more blockers on making videos of ANY kind, it’s time to get back to building things, sharing knowledge, discuss content creation and so on.
I am really enjoying writing this newsletter, so let’s get started!

DEV.to TOP Article of the week
Yes! My article is currently at the TOP of the DEV articles.
When I did my last livestream in JavaScript, I decided to go the extra mile and write an article about this on DEV.TO
And it went so well! It reached the top of the articles of the week and this drove a lot of traffic to the Youtube video and channel!
Also, having it on daily.dev helped to get more traffic.
The stats are pretty impressive considering I haven’t written an article in a while.
It also got both the Docker and the Javascript badges.
I will probably write more, especially now that I am more focused on content.
Types of DevRels
A new video of the “DevRel Unlocked” Series is out.
In this one, I talk about the 3 types of DevRels.
The video is the shortest of the series, and I had a lot of fun making the thumbnail, even if it required more time than creating the script and recording the video itself!
Appwrite and Open Source
A great interview, with Eldad A. Fux, Founder, CEO, and creator of Appwrite. We talked about the behind-the-scenes of the company, the hard and the good moments, and the future.
There are also some good tips about Open Source.
I added the chapters so it’s easier to check only what you want to watch.
The Power of Web3modal
A great example of how to get started with the new Web3Modal, coded live with Vanessa Mercado, Developer Advocate at Walletconnect.
It’s a good video to watch if you are a Front end developer interested in Blockchain technologies

I finally coded in Python on my YouTube channel!!!
I build a CRUD rest API in less than 30 minutes.
I did it live, and I already removed the unnecessary parts and I added the chapters.
I am also preparing an article about this that will be out soon…
